Default Voodoo shift ****

I don't know if this is the right section or no, but anyone here uses the Voodoo shift ****?http://www.ricks2k.com/products/othershiftknob.php they are popular in s2000 crowd but i don't know about 350Z. I just got my Z last week and looking for a good shifter. I have looked into the Nismo Titanium but paying 120+ is a bit too much IMO. I saw some pics of the Forged THX shifter and i am highly interested in that too. But I dont' think I can buy that brand new since they discontinued. I would like a nice shifter (no cf) for around 40-60 bucks or even more if the quality is right. Can someone help me find one?

I have one, i really like it, it makes the throw shorter than stock and feels nice and solid.

Well the only other one that i've tried is the chrome nismo one, it felt nice but i prefer round shift *****. I would recommend either one, depending on what you prefer, round ball or stick. The nismo did give better grip when really ripping through the gears.

I Like the Voodoo shift **** I have a short shifter with this on it and makes it REAL short. The width of the **** fits good in the palm of my hand. I dont have to grip in hard to shift like the stocker.

The only down side is I have to carry a micro fiber sunglasses case in the car to cover the **** to keep the heat down. Thats the only down side and thats manageable.

I have a voodoo and love it. I have had mine for a few yrs now and it was one of the best pieces for my car. Installed on the stock shifter height, it is perfect. I once tried to go back to the stock **** after having the voodoo and it just wasn't going to happen.... I like the voodoo too much. for the price, you can't go wrong. I think one advantage of the voodoo is that it is weighted which makes shifting easier compared to a very light ****; which I would assume the nismo Ti **** would be

The price is really good that's why I wanted to give this a try. My friend has the same in his S2000. I will go with voodoo, thanks.

Ok I have just put the voodoo **** on and throws are def. shorter than before. I like it. But as I have anticipated, there's a little gap between the shift **** and the leather housing. I have already ordered the round ring from Zeetoys http://www.zeetoyz.com/shiftknobfinisher.htm. How about you guys post some pictures of your voodoo shift ****. This way I can see how yours look compare to mine. thanks

I have the spun aluminum, matches the interior perfect, has random scratches on it though, and I have no idea where they came from...so I'm assuming it scratches rather easily or something, other then that I love it, I put the home depot ballcock thingy on it as a finisher...

what's that?

The finish is very nice. I got the spun. It really makes the throws shorter. I can only imagine how short it would be if i wanna install a short shifter kit in the summer......
