Good afternoon,
I just conducted a search for "armorglove", but there was nothing to be found. When I purchased my Z, my dealer gave me a broshure for ArmorGlove, which is a similar product to 3M paint protective film. However, before I have this installed, I have a few questions you might be able to help me with. I have discussed these with the local ArmorGlove rep, but I am not sure how much I trust his answers. So, here we go.
First, do any of you have experience with the actual ArmorGlove product? How does it compare to 3M and CrystalGuard? Is it comparable or are there differences?
Second, once installed, can I use Zaino, Zymol, and other synthetic type car waxes. I know you can use carnuba and should not use a buffer, but what about Zaino? Is it safe?
The product is warrantied for 4 years. Does it really last that long (yellowing, cracking, etc)? I know if it did not, it would be covered. However, I am planning on keeping my Z for a really long time and do not want a hassle.
Next, if I did need to have it removed and replaced after some time, how much does removal cost? Not sure if anyone would have experience with this.
Finally, does anyone have specific experience with ArmorGlove Midwest in Cleveland, Ohio? If not, does anyone have experiences with other "Clear Guard" installers in Northeast Ohio?
Thanks a million.

I live just east of Cleveland and there are only 2 clear bra installers period in the area, that I am aware of. I had mine done from a dealer in Chippewa Lake. She uses both the 3M and Avery products. I know of no ArmorGlove dealers around.. As for removal, it won't cost anything, you can remove the stuff yourself without any harm to the paint, and yes, you need to wax it just as you would your paint.

I actually found a list of installers for 3M in the cleveland area on the 3M site. Sorry, I found the info after posting. Here are the ones in my neighborhood. Any experience with these anyone?
Ernie's in Akron
Graphic Accents in Akron
ProStyle (Invinca-Shield Distributor?) - Cleveland

I just had my 3m clear bra installed on Saturday, took the installer about 3hrs to do the job..he did a great job, the 3m product is really opticallly clear and the fit could not be better. I watched part of the installation and am sure glad I did not attempt it! If the product performs as advertised it will be $
well spent..I am in Erie, Pa in case you are within driving distance and want the product installed by someone with experience..
