Thank you all for the advice!!! I'm just planning to take the 350Z badge off and replace it with the fairlady Z. I'm not even gonna try to mess with the nissan emblem. I got the heat gun, goo gone, and fishing line. I guess I'm ready to go.

Gloves will help. That damn fishing line hurt if you pull too tight. I actually wrapped it around two screw drivers and used that rather than my actual hands.

you really wont need all that, mine came off no problem by just pealing them off by hand.

I talked to a guy who got his rear emblem taken off and he said it cost him $250 for them to fill, sand and paint it. Said it looks good and you can't tell at all.
