Really can't go wrong with either it seems...
The ARC **** was the best compromise for me because I wanted a shorter throw but did not want the rattling and reliability woes that certian short shifters come with. Although its not a huge difference and I don't know how it feels in comparison to a true short shifter, the ARC ball is about as low a **** you can get on the "silky smooth " stock shifter without upgrading to a potentially harsher shifter

I wish someone had both of them to do an accurate analysis. Everything I have read on here seems to just be opinions. I want a heavy weighted **** and I'm thinking the ARC would just feel more comfortable. My only gripe is that I live in Las Vegas and boy does it ever get hot here!!!

Well I ran the Evo-R for about 6 months. Im switching it up and selling the Evo-R and im going to install the ARC when I get back.

I've always liked the ball style shift *****, they are more comfortable to me. I guess it all matters what is more comfortable to you, because they are both beautiful shift *****.

Tommy Kaira **** owns all. I had the Evo-R and it was decent, but switched to TK and it is 1,000,000 X better; perfectly weighted and feels great in the hand.

But it's $225 I don't mind spending more money on good stuff but for a shift **** thats over kill. Doesn't mean i wont ever get one but if a $110 shift **** does a good job then i'm all for it.

I like my ARC. Even if it sits in the sun in the summer, it doesn't get unbearably hot like an aluminum ****.

When I researched shift *****, it seems like the 3 i listed plus the nismo ti and evo-r are the most popular shift ***** around.

perhaps because they are the most cost efficient? after going through a few *****, including a nismo one, the Tommy K. one is by far the best shift **** out there. I would do what I can to get it. It changed my driving experience, no joke. Other Tommy K. owners know what I'm talking about. Luckily, I had a hookup in Japan, but I would readily pay more after using it.

I've got the evo-r in my Z.. It looks really nice, you have to supply a rubber finisher for it to look really good in the Z. It feels and shifts very similar to the nismo gt titanium shift ****. both are what I would consider small shift ***** as I can cover the whole **** with my hand. the evo-r does get pretty cold in the winter and hot in the summer so if you live in one extreme be warned you should keep the **** covered if you park in the sun. Im weary of polishing it because the one time I tried it looked like I polished some of the burnt titanium color/finish off of it and I'm pretty **** about keeping my shift **** shiny because my old chrome nismo **** needed to get polished every few months for it to bling right. A member of our vallejo meet has the tommy kaira **** and that isht is very nice.. it does have a similar feel to the evo-r...its seems a perfect weight and shifts real nice. I'm sorry I've got no info on the titanium arc as I don't think I've seen a guy with the burnt tit version in their Z as of yet. A different member of our vallejo meet has the forged performance shift **** and that one is a good one to get if you are worried about temperature because it doesn't get hot plate hot in the summer, has a built in finshier to it, and looks pretty good in the z as well...seems a little small, but still a nice ****.

EVO R for me. and I like it!

HOWever, Ti ***** get ****ing hot under Socal summer... you need a glove or cover up the **** with something before you leave the car under the sun... especially the BLACK CAR.....

I used to wear my workout glove on my right hand when it's too hot to touch... ouch!!
