Default Custom Nismo Wing

I didnt like the way the bottom part went all the way accross. So I removed it. I think it turned out great. The only thing is that the wing a piece of crap to begin with. I got the "good Deal" on buying the Replica and let me tell you. This is very poor qaulity. They are paper thin and it was caracked and coming apart where they glued the two halves together. Im not going to be suprised if this thing Blows off around 120 or so. The bottom will still be bolted on but it could separate. To help prevent this I filled the whole thing with foam and that helped sturdy it up alot.

Let me knwo what you think

here is a couple of pics

The wing and the mounts are put together with screws. But im talking about when they make the mold, it is in two pieces and them get glued together. That is what is going to separate.

the wing is connected to the mounts with screws. Im talking about the accual mounts. In other cases is would be the lower deck of the wing that gets bolted to the decklid. on mine the whole center has been removed . When the mold is made it is two pieces and they get glued together.

i like that 20 times better than the original design with the thick bottom piece!!

is the lower piece that you cut off solid? or hollow? (spelling?)

This might bump the nismo wing back up on my list. Thanks for being creative. I actually thought about this but didnt want to be the guinea pig

That looks very sweet. Is that a Nismo or replica? How tough was it to complete?

Nice Job!!!!

It is hollow in the middle. But where i cut it off at, I only had about 1 Inch to fill with some Duraglass. Super simple to do! I am kinda a body man so I did it myself, but if you were to take to a body shop they would not have a problem at all and it would only take them about an hour of time to do it.

Mine is a replica. ( if I had the extra money I would go with the original. Only because of how thin the replica is and the poor quality that i came as. If your a body man you can fix it with duraglass and about 4 hours.)
