Thumbs down head lights working all time

Mine is a canadian spec touring which have head lamps working when motion,,,,, how can get rid of that??

why do you want to? I drive with my lights on most of the time, safer and the HID's look cool.

their not HIDs, its the brights at 60% power. there called day time running lights, and Im 99% sure they are the law in canada on all new cars.

donno how you turn it off exactly. I mean you cant turn it off, but I donno how you disable it.

I think there is a relay that controls it. If you find it, send it to me, I want DRLs

I wouldnt drive with my lights on all the time. I used to do that in my CL-s and now the headlamps are "fogging." I try to only use them from dusk till dawn, and truthfully, wyou really cant tell that they are HIDs in the daytime, they just look like lights. Just my 2 cents

Yes, all new cars at Canada must have DRL.

I also had that on my VW Passat, which I hate. The solution for the Passat was to pull out the DRL relay. The relay decrease power to the headlight bulb, so it makes them run at 60% of their normal brightness, with the relay gone, the light don't turn on at all, problem fix.

I don't know about the Z, but I think the concept MIGHT be the same. You might can find the relay and pull it out, if it doesn't work, stick it back in.

Unhappy I want a solution

I live in the middle east and it is really weird driving with headlights on The problem is that they don't sell this car here and the dealer doesn't know a **** about it I'm all at my own
