Default Silver Alloy touch up

My silver alloy is a poor match. Is anyone else having this issue. I've double checked and I have the right paint code.

Default Silver Alloy touch up paint

I also tried the touch up for a chip on hood and door bottom. Even after an intensive bottle shake up, the paint did not match at all. It seems to be a couple shades darker. What's a fella to do?

Default If...

it bothers you that much...perhaps a local shop can provide a more accurate match.

So far the chips I have are pretty tiny so I'm just touching them up with some clear. If I get a big chip I may have to. I had a body shop make some touch up paint for the wheels on my last car. That work perfectly.
