I know of a place. He is in California.
www.carbon-weks.com
If you show the owner a list of whos intersted. He might do a production.
He has done the whole interior for the 3rd Generation Eclipse.
He lays Cf on our stock interior pieces.
Very good quality. I will try to get some links fron neweclipse.org
He is also in the making of doing a Full CF hatch for Porsches.
IPT looks very impressive.
thanks

Bloody hell!! People need to get on it doggone it and make this friggin thing!! It cant really be that hard, at least make a cover without the clips that can go over the stock dash...there has to be a way to make one to cover more than those weak a$$ ones out now. I mean if the clips were the only problem then you'd think they could at least make the shape of the rest and put an adhesive on the back....

I (and I'm sure others) would be interested in real carbon (or aluminum) replacement interior pieces for the G35 coupe. It would seem that they could simply take an existing piece and produce a mold out of it and use that to produce the new piece?

Well I have found a place who makes raw carbon fiber sheets, and I'm going to experiment with it to see if I can fabricate a cover, something at least better that whats out now. It's fairly easy to transfer the 3d shape onto a flat serface, then cut and shape it to match. But we'll see what comes out of it. I've been looking at the design for the past week and it looks fairly simple, the only problem comes in keeping the sizing right after shaping.
