Is The Body Kit Year Important?
I don't think I could find an answer to this simple question because it's most likely the most newbie question of all:
When it comes to body alterations (front fascia, hood specifically), does it matter what year the parts are specified to? Right now I'm researching and putting most of my money away for an exterior overhaul for the summer next year. I have an '07 Basic.

you mean for aftermarket or oem ?
because if you're talking aftermarket, they dont label it by years, they go by versions, like Nismo V2 (version 2) and so forth. OEM kits that come with the car from the factory are labeled and recognized yearly by owners, like for the G coupes theres a different front bumper wheels and sideskirts for the 06 and up models so when I see one on the street I know whether it's an 06 or earlier model just by the those parts alone

all aftermarket full bumpers, sides and rears will it all year z's. sideskirts and rear bumper didnt change at all any year, and only the 06+ front bumper is different. so if you want a lip for your 06+ it will be different than the 03-05. and the 07+ gets a completely different hood, so no hood, 03-06 will not fit an 07 and up z.
