I have done quite a search and I found that some people said the Xenon bulbs for the Z is D2R and some said D2S.......

Anyone please 100% sure tell me which one they fit??
the owner's manual says D2R and I have a set of 7000k D2S in my desk......

Please let me know, I dun wanna waste my time removing the rims and fender and then they wont fit.......

You have to go with the D2R type bulb.

The D2S bulb is designed for use with a projector type housing, and though it might fit, is bound to throw a wacky pattern in a D2R based housing.

 

I couldve sworn the Z took D2S since we have a projector in the headlight.

Go outside and look at your car, or better yet take a close up picture.

Is there a whole bulb/lens assembly in the housing? Almost like a foglight Or is it a cover/diffuser in front of the bulb.

If the manual says D2R, I'd go with that recommendation. They printed a LOT of those manuals and I'd think thered be an addendum if it was a typo.

The housing on the Z is HUGE, like the celica.. I would think it has to be a reflector type.. look at the S2000 (projector type) lamps, much smaller packaging. But if you can post a good pic of a headlight we can know for sure. I'm betting D2R..
