Nope- that storage area in the console was designed for quick and easy access. Unless you want to install a lock yourself, there's no way to secure it. But with a locking glovebox right next to the console, why bother?

Put it under the tray in the compartment behind the passengers seat. the tray that hides the fuel pump! They will never look there if your car get broken into.

if you're dead set on a lock, just go to a hardware store and find a mailbox lock that will fit for whereever you want to install it in the cover (they have different lengths and shapes)

Your ignition key should be keyed to the glovebox. If the HUGE glovebox can't hold your laptop, how would the console fit it?
