Default JDM Interior Illumination

Has anyone installed the JDM Interior Illumination kit available from Courtesy or Japanparts? I installed mine this weekend, but I did not hook it up because I can't figure out which wires to splice (the directions are in Japanese). There are three wires plus ground. Can anyone here translate Japanese?

The directions are on Courtesy's website: http://www.courtesyparts.com/instruc...0-Z33KT_1.html

I am going to check the service manual too, to see if that sheds any light on the matter. No pun intended.

I'll keep you guys posted.

Yeah, but I had the local stereo shop install it....'course it cost me $70, but it was worth it, the install is perfect. They placed the switch right in the CD/cupholder area.

BTW, these lights are incredible. Subtle, very classy, and VERY cool. Get compliments all the time.

What switch? The lights are supposed to dim with the stock interior lighting after you shut the door. Maybe you got a different kit?

Ill work on the pics...

I didn't get the footwell light kit, I got the Nissan JDM Amber Interior Illumination kit, which does have a switch that mounts into the tranny tunnel compartment. I told the guy to wire them to the lights, but I think I used up the last spot with my LED side markers...at least the installer said he couldn't find an open plug. Basically, you can just leave them switched on all the time, and they are not apperant durirng he day.....how much battery poswer that uses up i don't know.
