What a great look at an even greater price. It's a nice touch with the chrome across the front grill. So, I have another question for you if you dont mind. I am currently in the process of buying a new Z myself, and have been torn on the color I want. I finally decided on the blue, and then I saw something that scared the **** out of me. I was driving home and along side of me was a fifty year old woman in her brand new (still had temp tag) blue 350. Now the part thats scary... the rear bumper cover, as well as the round fuel door were slightly different in color. The car was brand new, so I assume no paint work had been done, and the color difference was slight, but different none the less. Did you find this to be the same on your car? Have you seen any other Z's out there with this same problem? Looking foward to hearing back from you. Thanks, Glenn

yup the blue and silvers are not matching the paint real well from metal to plastic. I thought the new ones were supposed to have a refined process that corrects this, but apparently not.

it is ONLY the blue and silvers tho, the other colors do not suffer from this problem.

Grey Matter

On my Redline the fuel door seems to be ok, but I can tell a slight difference on the bumpers. I think it is as 'ares' said, it is just the process of painting metal and plastic. I got my Z in August so maybe the problem is fixed now

The Daytona blue Color changes in the light. In different light metal and Plastic reflect the light different. On my Car, all the parts are the same color but some time "LOOK" Different

You can never match the color between rubber and metal. Rubber such as the bumper uses a flex type of paint to bond, that's why the color comes out slightly different from the metal body. On the Z, the most noticible color is silvers, and blue.
