+1. Shield would need to be bent as well. I installed 4mm spacing in mine when I had my headlights apart for paint during winter downtime last year but could not find a high-quality non-fresneled lens in time and had to stick with the stock lens. As such, I decided not to work on the shield either. It gave me a diffused colorband (as to be expected) but i was at least content that it was better than stock.

Ivory and Redlude, can you two shed some light on this? I'd love to get this mod done on my car. I have been talking to Redlude about this for some time now but 1. JDM Sti Lenses are hard to come by and 2. They're $200.

This seems to be exactly what I was waiting for!

I can say for OEM these STI are as clear as they come. As far as the replicas I can't vouch for them personally.

If you are looking for this mod I can provide the JDM sti lense...while supplies last.

Not bash. Stating the facts. Don't need to instigate. Ask him yourself.

There is a difference between clarifying and instigating. Your comment was rude and out of line, and given that Ceasar is a friend of mine, as well as a business associate, I take it personally. Don't bite the hand that feeds you as the saying goes.

Rude? I find that your personal relationship is clouding your judgment. I think your personal business practices is the definition of RUDE aside from the topic at hand.

Fact of the matter is he takes what he learns from me which I openly share when in fact he is a competitor. I believe in open source relationship for our industry. What do you believe? cut throat and rude manners, interjecting on topics that you know little of and personally attack others?

from Kwame's comment of Caesar doing it for almost a year is a statement as if he's the only person doing it. For my business interest it's only right that I state the fact that he has in fact learned how to do it from me. It's not rude and in no way would that be rude. I personally praise Caesar's good work among our peers so You need to back off because you obviously have no place to judge me.

If you say you taught him, that's great....but who cares? Did anyone ask in the thread who Ceasar may or may not have learned whatever from? No..so keep it on track, that's all - especially if you need him to supply you with a given item.

The thread is not about your opinion of me - if you have a problem with me, feel free to pm me and I'd be happy to reply.
