How much does this cost? What would price be parts, labor and shipping both ways?

I say do you yourself man.... opening the headlights is cake, and swaping the lens takes a whole 30 seconds.....

Just $80 for the lenses then

If you want more work such as paint/halo/led install then there are plently on this site that offer those services, a few posting in this thread

Who cares that ceasar has been doing it for a year? If you want to play that game No one asked you to jump in and advertise.... Tons of people do the same mods...

Also I am sure his STI lenses are not $80 bucks and this topic was related to the replica.... has he been offering the low cost replica for a year?

I personally learned of this mod LONG ago from Ivorys posts on other boards.

Also my bad about the confusion with the kioto (sp) lens.

I can't believe how expensive those STI lenses are! I gave mine to a neighbor's kid. He cracked one and he's probably using the other to burn ants.

This was one of the coolest mods I had done, but I was pulled over twice for blue lights. The second time I was pulled over, the lights were aimed so low that they were practically useless.

surprising...I've never even been given the brights with mine from oncoming traffic. I remember when I had my S2k though, I used to get flashed and pulled over like crazy though...although that was also when HID's were still pretty new for factory equipment

Ya in the S2000 you get flashed alot..... Getting pulled over for the lights is dumb.... they have no idea that they are not stock.... they are not that much more blue than a S2000 projector and they come from the factory that way.... (older one of course)

Bad luck for you I guess.... Sux to hear what became of your STI lenses!

Actually, I had them aimed at the Nissan dealer after I installed them. Blinding oncoming traffic wasn't the problem. The problem was when the cutoff hit a chrome bumper and reflected a wall of blue light. That is when I was stopped. I tried to avoid such situations, but it made driving a chore and sometimes it just couldn't be avoided.

It really sucks because I have not heard of anyone else ever being pulled over for this color mod.

You did a GREAT job on my lights and I still have the painted housing, so it was not a total loss. As soon as I receive the stock lenses, they are going right back on my car.

Hey Ivory quick question (your inbox is full)

Do you have any idea if the eyelids such as these affect the beam patter on the 06+? I saw a thinner kind once be4... Nismo I think?

Thanks!

Easy way to find out is to just tape the housing, or even just a piece of cardboard with the lights aimed at a wall and seeing if there is loss in output
