I'm looking to paint the roof of my PPW also. Dynasty350z, from vallejo, has the roof of his PPW painted black. Here is his pic

 

oh he has the side thingies painted too. right above the windows. i've no idea what it's called.

i was thinking just the center, not the side bits too.

A-pillars. Just paint the center roof section, much better look IMO. unless you wanted to do the roof, pillars, hatch, and hood. <- to do that it has to be Carbon Fiber and not just painted.

 

a pillars are the ones that run relatively horizontal to the ground? i thought the vertical one was the a pillar..

confused. i shall look this up later.

and yeah i dont' want half the car black, only the roof.

 

why don't you just go with a carbon roof top?

 

dont like the look of cf, don't really care that much about reducing weight.

 

subscribing.. I'm thinking about this look too... I've seen a couple fellow PPW's with black roofs but I don't know if I want to pull thr trigger. I mean the PPW is mesmorizing... (I think I butchered the spelling of that)

 

lol you'd actually be adding weight since its an overlay... still waiting on those pics... i just think that your z looks so clean and pure with the white wheels and ppw... im worried the black roof might throw it off
