You bought grill mesh at a hardware store ROFL!!!!!
Just kidding man.
I bought an intake tube for my air duct at Napa Auto parts for $3.80 with tax. we're kinda in the same ghetto boat
By the way looks 10X's better than the crappy heavy intake tube junk they sell online.

I bought this for my V2. its at the shop now, i'll post pics when its done. i dont think it is going to be as "ghetto" as everyone is making it out to be.
thanks. $5 after tax for a 20' roll of 6" gutter mesh @ Lowes Home Improvement store:

yea it's real easy to work with.
And on another note I didn't post this to be ghetto or cheap about my mods, I've spent a lot of money on some of my mods, I just posted because I didn't feel there was a big need for people to get ripped off by other "Specialty" stores that sell this stuff from upwards of 40 or 50 bucks when you can get the same stuff for $5.

Lol, this is so funny. When I bought my Motorhome the steel mesh whistled in the wind. So, I install this in place of the two front grills on my Motorhome. It quieted the air flow down and keeps the bugs out of the radiator fins really well. Just thought I'd share. Maybe I should look at using what is leftover for a Z grill. But, I like my factory 04 grill as it is I think.

I wish I had a better picture ... But, you really can't see the mesh from 20 feet or more. I just blends into the cavity.

Man those wheels on that RV are Hella tucked. You need some 6" spacers and cut those fenders

Im interested in this but how would hold in place on the stock bumper??
ive read that if i cut the oem grill structural problems may happen at high speeds, would the mesh give it some support?
