I have bought a pair of eyelids for my Z but also like to put some kind of clear headlight overlay over the headlight first then put the eyelids on. Will the eyelids not sit as flush over the overlay since the overlay raises it up some? I guess i would like advice as to how to go about doing eyelid and protective headlight overlay at the same time. I want the eyelids to lay as flush with the hood and fender as possible but i worry if the overlay will cause it to sit higher and i also wonder if the adhesive tape for the eyelids will have a hard time sticking to the protective overlay if thats what i do. They tape they sent with the eyelids is 3m double sided tape. Here is a picture of the type of eyelids i bought.


Also, anyone bought some clear protective headlight overlay and where is the best place to buy them? I dont wanna buy someones home cut stuff like i have received before.

 

I've got the 3M clear bra & smoked overlays on my headlights, along with the eyelids. No issues at all.
