Default bigger gap with the Z badge?

I bought the Z badges from Courtesy Nissan and I'm thinking about stripping the NISSAN badge off the back and putting the second Z on the back...but I Wanted to know if the gap between the body and the badge is bigger then with the stock badge. I'd hate to put it on and see a big gap going around it.

i suggested taking the crappy tape off and using better adhesive..you shouldnt see a gap if you do that.. mine is peeling up so i am going to redo it.

Wanted to order a pair. I called Courtesy to ask if they changed the tape. He said no that's what comes on it from the manufacturer. He said with a attitude "I wish people would get them installed professionally" I said "Don't you just stick it on?" He said "no you use a heat gun". I said "that's to get off the old badge right?" He said "no to install the new one." I don't understand that but I guess I am not a professional. But since so many people had problems. I think I will peel of the adhesive and use the 3m emblem glue like someone suggested.
