I'm not sure what to make of it....it's either:
1) A really, really, really good spray paint (I'm talking Krylon) job
2) A budge paint job and you're saving up to get the "clear coat" done at a later time/date
3) Intentionally done to try and look not unlike Christian Bale's SUV/Hummer/Super-Hero-mobile
It's plain and simple...my point, and for the record: I'm not hating or putting the OP down, is that it looks like you're trying to go for the Batmobile look--which is nice, or you did the paint job yourself and you've mad spray paint skills--yet another positive complement, or you're gonna have the clear coat sprayed on later--nothing negative on working with a budget! I''m on a budget, myself, and have to do things like upgrades in "phases." No shame at all in any of the above...
The OP asked for opinions and the above post is mine. Everyone has different takes. To me, it looks like it's half way between two styles. Flat and gloss. If it was completely flat--I'm talking like a chalkboard--then it would've been obvious that that was the style he was going for. Gloss black, a common color but point taken. Semi-gloss? I've seen $99 paint jobs (i.e. Mako, Earl Schieb, Jethro's Paint Emporium, etc.) that end up looking almost just like that but with orange peel and drips.
Given the spray and coverage on the OP's car is really nice (I gave credit for that above) and even. However, it just looks like they used the "integrated" clear coat found in Krylon and other spray paints...
My 0.2 cents. If you disagree, great!

i think the semi gloss throws people off.im painting my car matte black tuesday and itll be completely flat. Itll just be a single stage paint instead of using the flattening agent in the clear. Just the small reflection you get make people think that its just a really bad clear or painter.

Thanks for the comments good and bad.. It did take some courage to do it.
Its been really overcast here lately so I don't have any good day shots yet.
Like it or not the who Krylon comments got to go.
I have plans on making the car fit the color better but its hard to decide what to do to it until its been painted.
^ thanks I was using photo bucket it was fun to mess with

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I wanted to hear them.
nearly stock?? I would like to get a rear diffuser, but other than that what are you saying should be changed. I got wheels, front bumper, sides , eyelids, tint, other than that I don't want to add anymore to the stock car.
You know what---- I have to say it myself that shieet does look tight.
