I have a 2007. I think the hood is alright. I think it looks a little more aggressive than the 03-06 hoods from the front, but the non-HR hood looks much better from the side. In some pictures, the 'hump' is not very distinguished - therefore making the hood look very bland. In other pictures and in person, it looks pretty beefy from the front....and kind of awkward from the side


It looks pretty aggressive in this shot, but the rest of the exterior does a good job of complimenting it.

I think T-tops would look sorta weird ( I saw a photoshop of one) but really it looks a lot better than a flat out convertable, least the t-tops would have left the rear hatch alone, keeping the Z's body sexy. But I dont want to hijack this hood thread, just making a quick comment

Why do you guys keep thinking that the having a bump hood makes us having a fake HR engine z?

In that case, shouldnt the 06+ headlight and tailight also give a "fake" newer model, according to that same perception, right?
(I like them, too! I just want people to know that if they interpret that way, they have double standards)
