Regardless, the hood looks the same from 2003 to 2006.
I have a 2007. I think the hood is alright. I think it looks a little more aggressive than the 03-06 hoods from the front, but the non-HR hood looks much better from the side. In some pictures, the 'hump' is not very distinguished - therefore making the hood look very bland. In other pictures and in person, it looks pretty beefy from the front....and kind of awkward from the side![](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/icon11.gif)
It looks pretty aggressive in this shot, but the rest of the exterior does a good job of complimenting it.

I think T-tops would look sorta weird ( I saw a photoshop of one) but really it looks a lot better than a flat out convertable, least the t-tops would have left the rear hatch alone, keeping the Z's body sexy. But I dont want to hijack this hood thread, just making a quick comment

Why do you guys keep thinking that the having a bump hood makes us having a fake HR engine z?
In that case, shouldnt the 06+ headlight and tailight also give a "fake" newer model, according to that same perception, right?
(I like them, too! I just want people to know that if they interpret that way, they have double standards)
