Default headlight problems,aim is horrible

I put on some 2006 HID headlights on my 2005. They work and look fine but the passenger headlight is pretty much pointed off out to the side of the road and when i drive in neighborhoods its shines on the houses more then on the road. How do i fix the aim? Could it be the bulb? I searched and found how to aim to raise and lower but havent found anything on left or right? any help?

Hmm thats weird, should be just fine... You just replaced the headlamp assymbly as a whole right? Nothing extreme like putting 06 projectors into an 05 housing?

Where did you get these from anyway? They weren't from another country were they?

Can you show us a picture of the output pattern and cutoff? Like this...

OP, take this thread from G35Driver into perspective: http://g35driver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=160947

It's a tutorial on how to adjust/aim the beams. Again these are on a G, but I'm sure it's a similar procedure to our Z's.

Take your car and aim it straight at a wall like in my pic and show us... Some headlamps have the cutoff start to climb higher toward the sides. I know it does a bit on our hybrid reflector/projector headlamps in 03-05's, and I know it does it on the RX-8 projectors because my friends RX-8 light goes higher on the sides.
