Default is goo gone safe on headlight cover lenses?

just painted my headlights and got small traces of the oem sealant on the outside of the cover lenses... any suggestions on what to use to get it off? rubbing alcohol doesnt work... would goo gone be safe on the plastic?

You can use Goo gone on plastic bumpers, so it should be safe. Just remember not to keep it on for too long. It does burn the material if you leave it on for an extended period of time. Wipe it off, and clean thoroughly.
