Wow that looks nice. i was planning on doing the same. i have the same color but i asked around and they said $250 just for a smoke and i thought that was too much.. how much did it cost you to do it yourself? and do you think its better to do it yourself or let a pro do it?

i had a pro shop who does customizations for all kinds of vehicles do it for me. dropped it off in morning and got it back in afternoon. they painted my tails and reverse lights for 150 which i think is a pretty good deal considering all the compliments im getting

To do it yourself all u have to do is tape the rest of the housing with newspaper and masking tape so only the red light part is showing and spray as many coats as ud like to get whatever dark color your looking for, then do the same with the clear coat(about 6-7 layers)
>>NOTE: Wait until previous layer drys until applying another (about 10-15 min)

>>1 bottle of VHT Night Shades...$12
>>1 bottle of Clear coat...$2.50
>>1 bottle of turtle wax rubbing compound...$5.25
>>1 tub of turtle Wax Polish...$4.25

>>>>>Do it youself price $24.00<<<<<
cant beat it

looks good.

I just bought overlays for mine.. 30% tint. I wanted it dark, but not too dark.. ya know?

I wanted to buy them from Bat, but he never returned my email so I had to buy elsewhere because I want to do this ASAP. Bought the 30% overlay from headlightarmor.com. Can't wait to get them!

Lucky you. I have been trying to find a place that sell the VHT Night Shades for weeks now. I'm just going to have to buy one online and get raped.

Looks very good!
