DON'T DEAL WITH MR. ZIPPS! SCAMMER proof inside.
I've had but great experience with Mr. Zipps as i received my lights within a week of sending it to him. But within a few months, my headlight developed a slight bubble due to improper curing of the light. So when i PM'd him about it, he never responded back to me. Thats what made my kind pissed....Cincity is prob my next option to repair the paint, or just to do CF.
The funniest thing is that I have seen his work and how shitty it is (some headlights done for local members were botchy, running, some has drips on the edges) but everyone swears by him. I remember buying a set of headlights done by him and the painting was horrible! I did a better job in my garage with Dupli-color spray paint! But yet everyone continues to send their lights in and I kept saying it's not worth the $300 but people swear by him. I'm glad that finally someone brought this to light because even if he gave you your lights back it'd still be shitty quality paint job.

Well, a small claims court suit is being filed tonight in the amount of $2062.26
That includes: cost of lights, shipping both ways the first time, him painting them, and then shipped back to him the second time.
He'll have to appear in a NC district court or there will be a warrant out for his arrest in NJ.
F UCK YOU MR. ZIPPS!
I'll be sending the new ones to CIN CITY.

It helps when one of your most frequent customers and friend is a damn good lawyer. I'm buying a mountain bike from him in exhange for the law advice/work. I was going to buy one anyways as I'm moving to Colorado at the end of May.

Holy **** bro, that's messed up!! I was hoping it was just a slight mishap, but obviously more than that with your lights. At least Robin is nice enough to help you out with a new set.
F UCK Mr. Zipps!!
Good luck Derek...
