I almost sent him a new set of headlights to be painted a few weeks ago. I'm so glad he didn't respond to my email. Stock headlights don't seem so bad now.

wow, i consider myself extremely lucky as i had my headlights done by this guy. the transaction with smooth. good luck bro, this is a damn shame.

 

Well as I said in my other thread, my lawyer has all his information and I'll be showing him this thread today when he comes by the shop to talk about other options.

I may be **** out of luck but atleast I've ruined his reputation enough on here that the same thing that's happening to me doesn't happen to anyone else.

The worst thing about it is that if I don't find other headlights before ZDAYZ, I'll be missing it this year as well.

jmcmorante offered to send his lights to me from California and borrow a car while I had them, but I just couldn't accept that. Thanks again though man!

 

Why would he just up and randomly start beating people for their money and headlights?

And Mr. Zipps was highly recommened when I first join the site.

 

He did mine on christmas eve and was very helpful in getting them back asap. Not taking sides but seems like alot of people also had very smooth transavtions. Kinda curious whats going on.

 

Interesting because before this I've heard nothing but good things from people that have gone to him...

The first time around was smooth as can be. It's when something went wrong that he started becoming shady.

 

I had a great experience with him myself and told Derek that......hope that recommendation didn't have something to do with D sending them to Mr. Zipps.

I'd feel awful if it did.....

This has been going on for some time now.......and I know Derek....he's one of the most patient people I know.


And BTW D......you're not gonna miss ZdayZ.

 

Robin no worries. It wasn't just you that convinced me to send my lights to him. And like I've said before, the first time was a week long transaction, smooth as butter. It's when I contacted him about my hazing last October things started getting bad. And even so, it didn't get really bad until he actually had posession of my lights.

 

DJ SMITTY, have you tried contacting CinCity and see if they can work something out with you regarding some headlights. Maybe rocking a decal for a couple shows may benefit them and you at this point. Just a thought...

 

Haha it's funny that you mentioned that, I spoke with James about doing just that. But I think something else might work out in time for ZDAYZ, just waiting to hear the final word.
