lol, the lexus has a bluer tint to it than the PPW, the PPW has more yellow tint to it.
z04, your an idiot if you think all whites are the same. do you know how many colors go into our PPW BASE, not the pearl?
And then go to a Toyota white, there are so many other colors mixed into that
you know what there is no point in trying to convince your dumb ***
HOK also has a pearl white, does that mean it's custom or is it still PPW? idiot
HOK isn't the only custom paint out there.
you can use PPG to match OEM color, or you can mix your own to have a "custom" paint lol and have the same effect as HOK, they are just another company that makes paint (and have quality paint)
you can use sherwin williams (shitty company) and have the same color as the PPG custom paint.
etc etc etc.

um, that was the mica in that picture, not the pearl that was being discussed and the lighting on both pics was way off. like i said the only way to tell the difference would be to put those two cars next to each other (the pearl white and the PPW, not the mica like that other guy posted) in the same light with the same camera. then if there is a difference it woudl be shown. so before you are so quick to call names i suggest you actually read what is posted before making your assumptions.
here is the lexus pearl. i still fail to see any difference with the PPW even in different lights.

There is a big differences, even from far away. There's something about the Lexus's white that's catchy though. The pictures above I did not know it was that much pearl on it. I love the blue pearls that the ppw gives off.

Lexus doesn't use a "Pearl White". Glacier Frost Mica or Starfire Pearl are their "Pearl White". What people fail to realize is pearl isn't the be base itself, it's a translucent powder added to the base. So many things affect how a pearl looks; light, angle, background. Two cars can look plain white in a garage, but when you pull them out and get some good lighting and angles you'll see the difference.
