nothin happening tonight, so I went to the next level, its been painted for a nice look, and measured out for the LED holes. It needs a little more paint, not all the holes are drilled yet. and of course the LEDs have to go in.

the plan is for 54 not so bright LEDs acting as the stand by lighting, and 44 bright LEDs that will come on with the brake. this is PER tail light. almost 100 each.

this is just me messing around, Id like to make more of them, but its not likely. too much work, and cant afford to have a plastic injection mold built.

maybe Ill drive around with it on the car for the hell of it, ghetto tastic 2 different tail lights.

progress was halted. came up with a plan to produce more of them, but first I need a mold, gonna use a silicone based mold which will let me get the details I need without some crazy intricate cut out peices. however I cant make a mold with LEDs in it. so I gotta do the mold before I put LEDs.

 

Where the hell did you get those sheets? Forget the tail lights, you need a Bed Bath and Beyond.



Just messing with you. I love the LED tail lights on the Skyine. I think if you could make them for a decent price, people will go nuts. Good luck! I'll be waiting to order some.
