Does anybody know if they sell a carbon fiber layover roof? And pardon my lack of knowledge, but is carbon fiber only available in black or silver, can they do it in ppw white or any other color without loosing the fiber pattern?

does it leave any residue after, if you ever decide to remove the overlay?

 

Our roof caps are installed usuing 3m double sided tape, so no residue should be left over if you decide to remove it.

We can get carbon fiber in red/blue/yellow but those are special order items and take 2 weeks to complete.

but anything can happen. if someone wanted to see if it was real, they would prolly scratch the corner to see if its real c/f. a tiny fold would ruin it, and then make u look some-what ricey.

there is...dry cf from amuse...but i think its only as an add on with the superleggera widebody

You'd have to get it painted.


And Jim doesn't sell an overlay like you think of Bats Overlay. It's a carbon fiber shell that attaches to your roof. You would have to get it cleared or painted like most carbon fiber pieces. A nail or anything like that won't ruin this unless you're a complete jack ***. And in that case, your regular paint would be in danger too.
