how fast does cf yellow if you dont clear coat it? ive never owned anything cf and i plan to paint it in the future and leave some parts cf, but dont know when.

 

depending on the uv protection used by the original mfg.. and how much sun exposure you give the car.

if u get parts of questionable origin, or u don't know if there is a UV clear coat. you might as well spend an extra few bux and have a local body shop do a clear coat over it to protect it and 'seal' it to prevent any yellowing.

normally it doesnt really yellow. its more like a cloudy haze...

Do a bleach job, then a clear coat.
