Default Hazy headlight

I have 03 Z and my right side headlight is hazy for some reason .... I was reading up a sticky at a different forum and I really wanted to try it with my Z.... I have already ordered and got the sand paper and Novus polishing kit... Anyone did this with their Z? any problems or fail attempts by previous members? I have searched numerous times with different search word but didn't find any sticky or thread specifically says anything about sanding + NOvus kit.... The reason I ask before attempting the project is that I don't want any one of you saying , " could've checked with us first before ruining ur headlight" ......your help is appreciated .......

here's the thread is was gonna follow (I used to own camaro before )http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=157192 ...

i used the plastX on mine when i took the headlight covers off. took the remaining residue form the 3M tape off along with any oxydation it had on them as well. this weekend at ZDayZ i used it on another person's headlights and it took almost 75% of the oxydation off. if he had a orbital buffer with this stuff it would clear them right up, just the arm got tired of using the pad on them. the difference was night and day with his.

I used the PlastX stuff on mine too and it worked pretty well. I need to take a little more time on it though

I've used the plasticX and the haze has come back. Am I not leaving it on long enough or applying it with enough pressure?

Toothpaste works on the exterior of the lens, just enough abrasive.

My passenger headlight is a little hazy and I wiped it with baby oil and it looked brand new. Of course, using baby oil is only a temporary fix and lasts a couple weeks...

use plastx once a week, if you really have some build up, try a buffer with plastx.
