Default Question: Autometer pod & gauges

How does the pod attach to the pillar ? double-sided tape or drilling required?
Anyone with pics?

Place the pod where you want it to go, Drill holes through the pod, into the pillar and use the clips that come with the pod to hold it in place.

I honeslty can't see why you could'nt just use red 3M tape or heavy duty (i said duty) Sticky back velcro strips.

Yeah, the Autometer pods come with "plugs" that you use to secure the gauge pod to the a-pillar after you drill them. It looks factory clean though... I wouldn't personally use tape to secure gauges...

EDIT: Hahahaa! You were making a funny! Yeah, I like getting drilled sometimes. Lol~ :-)
