Default Rear Swaybar Removal

I searched, but can't find. I need some instructions for how to remove the rear swaybar. The last owner spray painted it black... and it looks like garbage, so I'm going to paint thinner it up & possibly repaint.

I'm just removing the silver plastic piece, not the actual swaybar. I'm gonna go try now, but if I can't figure it out I hope I can come back and have some answers

What the hell are you talking about?

Silver plastic piece on the swaybar??? I can only guess that you mean rear strut brace?

As mentioned above, the stock swaybars are already black.

If you don't see the part you're talking about in the thread above, then it's not swaybar-related. Note, the swaybars in the above are red, as they're aftermarket swaybars (Stillen to be exact).

Pretty sure the OP is in fact talking about the strut brace, in the middle between the black plastics.
