Default Clear reflector gap???

i just installed my 06 clear reflectors (ordered from zstore) and on both sides their are gaps that i didn't have before with stock reflectors. i know i know this thread is fail cause im too lazy to snap some shots. its hardly noticeable unless you look for the gaps but im really **** about the smallest detail. is this normal??? i checked other pics of members with clear install and it seems like they have no gap at all.

When I installed my 06+ clear reflectors they fit perfectly. There are some tabs I believe that have to snap into the bumper if I remember right. This may be causing it to push away from the bumper a little. It is most likely how you installed them. I hope this helps.

I don't know if the 06 is the same as my 07, but you may have installed them on the wrong sides. Are your gaps at the top and bottom of the reflectors?

Edit: Yes they are 06+ I see.

I didnt think they would fit if you tried to install the wrong reflector on the wrong side. I could be wrong though. When you are redoing/looking at your install just look for the markings on the back of the reflectors. It should be labeled on the back of them which side they go on. There should be a big RH or LH on the back of them. Good Luck. Post your results.

Yeah, they fit, but there is a slight difference in the angle on the top and bottom of the reflector. Switch sides man!

Edit: i also looked before I did my install and there were no markings that indicated "a" or "b" / left or right.

I just compared the clear lens to the amber and noticed right off the bat that the bottom of the reflector should be angled slightly downwards. NOT upwards.

Ive got clears sitting in my room right now and I believe they say "R" on one and "L" on the other... not 100% on that because I am at work right now but I am pretty sure.

you cannot switch sides!!! the holes do not line up if you put it on wrong side. i had it right the first time but was just curious cause i had a lil gap. it was me just being a perfectionist. i took my car to precision z cause its near my house and the whole crew checked it out for me and said it was installed correctly. the gap is not really noticeable unless you look for it so im pretty happy still. Thanks for the help guys

Right on. I didn't have a gap. Did you buy the JDM corners or after market? I see you got them at the z store, but their site is a little convoluted (you can search and find items that you can't find browsing by category)
