How to take apart rear strut tower plastic panels?
I took a look at the rear strut panels and it seems as if the top portions should pop off with a simple screwdriver, but the bottom portion looks like trouble. First of all it has that manual hatch release tab which could get in the way and second the thing is just huge. Anyone have any direction how to take this thing apart or how to tackle the job? Im trying to start a carbon fiber project with these pieces.

Pull harder!
There are no screws or bolts holding any of the interior parts in around the strut. Looking at the thing you can see which piece of plastic is on the top and needs to come out first. I just put a finger under the piece and give it a good outwards tug and start the spring clips popping out. You're much more likely to break one of those spring clip mounting posts off on the way back in if you fail to align the clip with it's mating hole before trying to pop it in.

yup...just gotta pull and squeeze too.....
i found that squeezing the ends and making it bow out a little helps pull them out with out breaking the tabs...
I take them off every now and then for adjusting my suspension.
I'm planning on finding a really long allen key and drilling a hole in the plastic and leaving the allen key sticking out.
