Derek....does your lip have 2 bolts on each end? I could not tell from your pics.
I have a urethane lip with the shaved logo on front & mine had double sided tape, center & sides and 2 bolts on each end.
If my memory serves me right....I think the replica came with no bolts.

It has several bolt holes on each end. But this was on Z so they could have been drilled by the bodyshop or whomever...
I am going to sand down the primer in the area where the logo was shaved, and I should be able to find some evidence of whether any work has been done there.
I will post pics when I get it stripped...

the real deal comes with two bolt holes for the underside already pre drilled. looking at your picture yours looks like it has it but like you said, a body shop could have drilled them

From what the sellers says, it seems real.
From the pictures, it is hard to tell. There should be a VEILSIDE logo thing fiberglassed into the back of it in the center.
If it was painted over, then it needs work to find out.
Older versions of the lip had the VeilSide in raised lettering on the front, but the newer ones have the indent for the metal emblem.
However, the Urethane lips never changed and still have the raised letters.

I believe this is an earlier lip that had the raised Veilside logo as seen in the pics above. Seller said this is what was shaved, the raised lettering. I just have to find an hour this afternoon to confirm this lips authenticity. I have grown weary of this thread,
and it is mine.....

This is genuine Veilside FRP V1.
I will upload the pics to prove it in a bit.
The raised logo has been shaved and filled.
