Default Detailing new paint

How long do you have to wait to polish, swril remove, cutting pollish, and sealent on new painted parts? Was in an accident and they did not remove swirl marks from the new painted areas

When I got my bumper repaint they told me to wait 30 days before I did anything to it. I waited 45 just to be sure though.
