Cool First Modifications To My Car...

Hey guys,

I purchased my Magnetic Black Z a little while ago, and I have decided to modify it. The reason I created this thread is to get input from fellow Z owners about the things I am starting to do to my car. My car is going to thebodyshop shortly and getting an Aerosync Front Bumper and Nismo Sideskirts primed, painted and installed. Also my car is getting the rear bumper fixed because of a recent fender bender.

Other modifications I plan purchase in the next few days are...

-Forged Performance Shift ****
-Carbon Fiber Z tube/JWT Popcharger
-Project Kic Spacers/With Hub rings/25mm rear/20mm front
-Tanabe GF210 springs
-20% tint

Basically I am asking you if you can give me tips and advice about the mods I plan to do to my car. I am just worried about how the 06 stock rims will look after the spacers are installed with the front bumper and sides installed. After everything is installed I will start saving for rims & exhaust.

Pics will be added to this thread as my car gets back from the bodyshop and I purchase everything shortly.

Thanks,
Dan

All depends on what you want...everyone likes something different. I started with sound all around on my car....Sound system then exhaust, $3500 right off the bat. Many would have baught wheels and tires for that instead...

Decide right now if you plan on doing anything with the engine. Save up and go Force Induction if you are. I meddled around with bolt-ons for 4 years until I was able to pay for FI.

Pretty much go into any modification section on the forums and read the stickies about each forum, you learn alot fast.

i would go with a good set of rims and tires before the pop charger and shift **** only cause your car might look sort of silly with stock rims and a body kit and maybe go nf instead of gf with the tanabe springs the gf's sort of look silly since the front will sit a little higher then the rear

Actually even with the GF's, my rear is still higher. This is one reason I went with that spring, to help even it out a bit. Not sure if the stance is different depending on model year. If it is, I have the 06 like the OP.

MrFobby- I know the car might not look great with stock rims, but I think with spacers and the springs it will help make the car look better. My next modification will be some type of Volk rim. I will be saving up after these mods are purchased and installed. Also the Aerosync front will lower the cars clearence in the front as well. This is why I thought the 1.2" drop in the back and 1" drop in the front would be ok.
