haha, you got me there. Let me ask one more question that's random but would save me a ton of time on this forum. Ever since I signed up my pages are in reverse order (page 1 is the newest posts, and everything goes backwards to the last page which is the beginning of the thread) anyone know how to fix this? Sorry for missing that link btw

EDIT-fixed problem, good to go now. Thanks dcains!

Would it be too much to ask which LED's you have used for this design? They look sharp... perfect

Yes, i have seen your work and, i admire it. It is one of the few things that i wouldn't mind paying premium when i have the budget.. I am just curious about the LED's.. Thinking about buying few of them, just play around with them

I believe you used 3mm LED's on your reflector? If so, why didn't you go with 5mm?

5mm have a very wide viewing angle,120 degree...I prefer a more directional beam like a 90 degree. Every manufacture is different though, I like staying with Lumileds, Cree, Nichia.

Default Side Marker LEDs

I'm looking to remove the amber side markers in the front bumper (possibly rear) and replace with just white LEDs. The only write-up on here that I could find involved removing the whole front bumper to put them in, is this the best way or are there any just pop in and wire LED strips that you all would recommend?

Dont know about the wiring issue, but when i put my carbon fiber side markers in to replace the orange ones, all i did was hop under the front bumper and wriggle my hands in. I had to loosen the cover under there too a bit. The driver side takes 5 mins, not even. The passenger side took 30 due to the washer fluid reservoir being in the way.

I've seen CF side reflectors with LED's on e-bay.Also,a forom member(Ice)
had some for sale awhile ago.Chargespeed has some nifty CF cowls for the reflector openings. At around 240 bucks, pretty pricey.Got a pair on my Z.
But,really finishes to look.

Ahh good call on the reflectors, I think I'm gonna stalk e-bay and see if I can't find one for cheaper like the JDM ones or fab some up myself using the JDM clears. Thanks!

Check out ZLEDS on Facebook. Great guy to work with, but things can get pricey since it's mostly all labor work. I have my front reflectors, side emblems and interior emblems done by him. Check out my garage pics.

I don't think that will look very good installed on the car. Those 6 LEDs look awfully tiny, and face to the side. IMO, more LEDs, facing forward, looks best on the '06 to '08 cars. I'm biased, but here's my install:
