- Use a flat course file to get all the texture out. Move to a flat fine file to get the course scratches out.
- Use a soft block and some 180 and block the plenum. Then move to 320.
- Wetsand the plenum with 600. Then move to 1000.
- Use a microfiber cloth and a good metal polish until your heart's content.

My plenum is getting some weird spots on it, kinda like stains that don't seem to come of with a firm brush and cleaners. Of course they don't show up in the pic. I was thinking of going polished or maybe just doing it in black.
Which do you think might look better? I know it's my choice but curious what route others would choose.

For those who have polished them--did you use any high temp clear coat afterward? I'd think it's a good idea as cleaning them is much easier down the road. Any experience?

I left the textured finish on the plenum, as I kinda liked it. So now it's gloss black with the slight texture.
