Default Help with shifting ****

Does anyone know what the best way to get a new shifting **** would be? Mines worn out since i bought my Z used. Should i go with the factory **** and if so how? Thanks

Depends how you like your shifter.

I switched to a Nismo, cuz I like shifting vertically than with my hand over the top.

There's ball shifters that allow you to retain the "hand on top" method of shifting.


The stock shifter screws right off, but could be a bit hard to break loose the first time.

i dont like my nismo, i took it off and now its collecting dust. I got the GReddy Counter weighted ****, it screws right on where ur stock one does. And it was only 30 bucks. lol

Yeppers same here, I just took mine off and put on a new MOMO evo... I love it I dont have problems with 2nd gear anymore

First you need to decide if you are a lever person or a ball person.
I am a lever person and, at the moment, I am using the Forged shift ****... but I also have an evo-r shift ****, not sure which one I like more yet.

yup, i used to miss 2nd alot because it was hard to shift it hard with the Nismo ****, i wouldnt recommend it to anyone
