full LED conversion ... pics
I just finally got my parts back after sending them out to get converted to blue with custom gauges, so enjoy.
PLEASE READ!!!
If your looking to do the full conversion, do NOTdrive your car without the main gauge cluster. I had to find this out the hard way, since i had to get to work.
First off, the heat blasts since there is no AC controls to let the computer no what to do with the air.
Second, You will get one or two trips without your main gauge cluster before the ECU begins to realize that there is no odometer, after a trip or 2 the car might or might not start. If it starts, you will only be able to drive 3 to 5 mph. After a few minutes the car will completely shut down. (the ECU is going crazy without the odometer or any of its components).
Third, you cant roll your windows down either because there are no controls for that as well (i even tried to put the key in the door and turn it AND i also tried to hold the unlock button on my remote, DOES NOT WORK)
If your planning on doing this conversion, make sure you have another way of transportation, do NOT drive the Z.
I KNOW .... i am gettin a new HU next week that will match the blue! (Pioneer Avic-F900BT)
The man behind the work: His name is john, he email address is Pearl.Z33@gmail.com . or his username is TreeZ. He is a great guy and worked with me every single step of the way, Great communication, great work great guy. I highly recommend him.
