I am gonna be cutting a hole in my front bumper for an evo-r air duct... what do you guys reccomend using to cut hole in the bumper?

 

i reccomend not putting a hole in your front bumper

Box cutter. Go very slowly, the bumper cuts like hot butter.

 

sheit, an everyday steak knife will cut the front bumper Really, it's soft as hell. I used the blade on my Leatherman.

 

ok... thanks guys. on the instructions it said use a razor blade but i didn't know if that would work or not

 

i just did this 2 days ago, i used a utility knife, works like a charm

Using a handheld knife will take forever. Plus, your cuts won't be as nice as it could be. On my messed up bumper I had, I used a box cutter blade and it wasn't that fun.

If you have access to a Dremel (wired with at least 20,000 rpm speed), it would make things much much easier and faster for you. Make sure you use the proper attachment tool (high speed cutter). I said wired because battery runs out faster than you think and 10,000 is too damn slow so higher the speed the better.

 

Box cutter worked fine, but I heated the blade up in between cuts, made it much easier.
