This may be considered a dumb question, but if i decide to paint the rear reflectors and the front ones black like shown above in the other pictures would there be any problems with legality. i live in new jersey and the cops in my town have made serious complaints about window tinting and burned out lights and things like that, just trying to prevent another ticket/fine.

Rear reflectors are in the tail lights. If you mean the white lens beneath the tail lights(your turn signal/reverse light), that is illegal/hazardous to paint. I would suggest an overlay to black it out.

Question

Has anyone painted the reflectors in the front bumper silver, to match Silver Alloy?

I don't have Photoshop, so I can't make an approximation for myself. I just wonder, if you could get a properly matching silver tone, how it would look . . .

I must be getting old but what does the term "murder out" mean when talking about a car?
