carbon fiber hood and alarm
i just installed a seibon oem style carbon fiber hood and everytime i open the hood to show off my nitrous setup my alarm goes off. anyone know why? thanks in advance
I would hope that if I have an alarm and someone tried to pop my hood, my alarm would go off.
Did you buy the car used?
Previous owner might have installed a hood light type switch, that when the hood is open it goes to a dummy load (acts like a light bulb) that creates current draw on the battery and setting off your alarm.
