hello all. well here is the issue the weatherstip that goes on the roof between the roof and the pillar is coming off. im trying to replace it but dont know where to get it. i called a dealer and they said that i needed to purchase the whole roof and that that came with the strip. another dealer told me i had to purchase the pillar and that came with the strip. Im pretty sure their wrong, but who knows,. im posting a pic circled in red where the strip is. Could you guys please help me find where i can purchase that part.

i called courtesy nissan parts and they said i had to buy the pillar as well.

 

that rubber strip is glued to the whole long pillar piece...u will probably have to buy the whole pillar to replace it...unless u can find some rubber stuff that is close to make it from scratch.

 

Autozone I think had some stuff you stick onto old warn out rubber moulding like that (I'm going by words alone, work blocked the pic) and that sounds like it may work. Buddy had same issue with his blazer, he bought that and it worked fine. I may retract this statement when I get home and can see the pic.

 

oh damn, I have no idea on that. I do retract that (^^^) post. that stuff won't help....umm...silicone? kidding.
