Default Mastergrade TS diffuser fitment with HKS dual exhaust

I'm thinking of picking up a mastergrade diffuser, but have one concern...
For those of you who are running this setup, how does the diffuser fit over the exhaust canisters? Did you have to do any modification to the diffuser at all? Some people say it fits just fine, some say it requires dremeling. I'm confused. Just in case, it's a Hi-power True dual Ti tip HKS exhaust.

Please post your pics of your setups! Thanks.

dremel...it is not my friend

i have the top secret one, and having to put a dremel to it to cut away $$$carbon$$$ is def not fun or simple.

i prolly wont post pix, cuz of the fugliness...but i will suggest you make a cardboard template before you attempt to bring the dremel to the carbon. also use lots of masking tape, it will save surrounding surfaces if you slip or something.

gl!

hey, sorry it took me so long to upload these pictures. after i got them sorted out my crap crashed/froze.

#1..anyways, what i did (not what i shoulda done) was mounted the rear 2 bolts to the underbody then the diffuser to that (well after the most intricately-retarded setup to ensure it being centered...lotta blue masking tape & chopsticks-don't ask)

#2..i held the diffuser up to the canisters and started to trim away carbon until it sat flush to the underbody near where the factory mudguards where mounted.

#3..as for the "Z" brackets on each side, i just guestimated and redrilled new mounting wholes into them instead of trying to use the existing ones...though i did get lucky on one side.

#4..as for the aluminum braces, i had to bend/drill to make them fit, though yes, i am missing one thanks to a yummy pickup tire my diffuser really wanted to eat one night

#5..QUICK EDIT: be sure to cover the areas of which you intend to cut out with at least 4 layers of masking tape if you wish to save your diffuser any bonus/accidental harm

–i hope yours doesnt take you 4ish hours to install as mine did...gl!

^ nice job, doesn't look like TOO much cutting to the diffuser.
