We did not make them like that.
There is no "limited production" on them.
Every VeilSide front lip for the 06+ Z has the emblem in the middle.

I'm not trying to start a replica vs. authentic debate. I know that tons of people like to go cheap on their car. That is fine. The support the guy who rips off the original design.
Some people like to buy the real product. That is fine too. They support the original designer.

Allen didn't verify anything.
hate to say it but you're coming off the wrong way. if you are confident in your original product there is no need to be so defensive about the whole matter. i say move on because the people who buy replicas would never shell out for the original in the first place. the true enthusiasts who like originals will stick with the authentics. one thing that does rub me the wrong way are people who play off their replicas as authentics. i have a shineauto amuse kit on my car and when people ask me thats exactly what i tell them, "its a shineauto amuse style replica."

Thank you for verifying that! Your username says it all, I believe you

......back to the OP, two hours to install? What in the world took that long? My "authentic" Veilside took nothing but three minutes.....seriously, it fits like a charm

Like I said before, I'm just trying to make sure the ORIGINAL BUYER AND THREAD STARTER got what he paid for.

There are a lot of people who will try and sell fake products, VeilSide or any other brand, as real ones and not tell the buyer. I am looking out for buyers.

I do not want a buyer to THINK he is buying a real product, when in reality, he is sold a fake product.

It is as simple as that.

Wow, i'm really sorry. I didn't take a close enough look at the pictures. I could've sworn I saw a badge, but I must've been seeing things. My apologies good sir.

Also, it did seem like this was a "limited production" run. I tried ordering one for 2 and a half months, and all the vendors kept saying it was backordered. Given there are a few on the boards that have them, they're so hard to find, you guys at veilside might as well make it a limited production run. All you guys had were Carbon Fiber versions. I was quoted in late march, april that you guys would release the fiberglass version in late June...and the vendors still didn't have them.

They must have been backordered because they sold out like hotcakes.

We get containers about every 5 weeks or so. So, it really shouldn't take that long to get a lip if you order it.

just as an example, we have 8 FRP 06+ lips coming in...next week or week after.

LMAO

On the serious note, 2x4, I would guess you can get them at Lowe's or Home Depot... or a local lumberyard? I would weatherproof it if it's gonna stay outside..

That's why i like to keep my old version V1 lip with the raised letters instead of emblem that way people will know that's a real Veilside not an emblem people can just throw on a replica lip.

Hellos,

Why is this thread even have the word "VeilSide" in it, if it's a replica?
