Default license plate led bulbs

Mine burnt out and i searched , but i cant figure out how to remove the cover that holds the bulbs and what size bulbs are they....and how to i swap in the bulbs..i dont see any screws holding the cover...HELPPP

its a clip, hold both ends with your fingers. You can find the bulbs on ebay and part number in the search box...

ooh is it a 194 or a 168 bulb...I can get it at the local canadian tire...Is there a difference betweek a 194 and a `168 bulb or are they the same...its the same bulb that is in the headlight...The small little one in the corner in the 03 versions

its not even a clip.. it's more like a fastener that when you press down it releases... its really simple.. and it's a 168 bulb... I used LEDs from superbrightleds.com... looks similar to the new generation Lexus license plate lighting. You'd be done in like 3mins.. literally.

Just look underneath there you'll see it. It is a clip you just push it and it comes down.

Hey, guys, do the aftermarket LEDs just "go in" after you remove the OEMs,
or do you have to do some kinda mod?--Is it a "remove'n'insert" kinda deal?

I GOT IT...But i the shop nearby only sells cheap eurolight led. MEH, looks pretty goood.....I wish they were a bit brighter..ANd no, they just fit in like the regular bulbs...Just push it in

sorry but if you got that much light behind you your just asking for a ticket. stick with oem lights for the rear.

LOL!! Yeah Right !!c'mon man.there really not that bright in person.like the picture of my front sidemarkers are not like that!plus y would it be so wrong to have MORE light output in the reverse light?Maybe to see better at night?
Ps. i live 6 houses from a Police station and they never bother me(knock on Wood) ..trust me it looks like the lexus!it proably looks bright on the pictures cuz of my PPW color also?
