Default NRG Harness Bar

Has anyone had any experience installing the NRG harness bar in their Z? I ordered one and I think the vendor sent me the wrong model since it doesn't have the "L" brackets on the ends of the bar and it came with down-tubes that don't reach the seat belt brackets or the child safety seat anchors. Is there something that I'm not noticing here? or do I need to return it and get the right model?

Hey.. just got sponsored by them.. the harness bar is well not designed correctly.

Everyone who has it just uses it without the long bars.

Im still talkin to them about getting it fixed. It works fine without them just not 100% secure. Its not the wrong bar just something wrong with the design I guess.

Its really a nice bar.. powdercoated and individually checked for weak welds and stuff and the price is half the cost of a sparco bar...

But yeah that one design flaw is kinda important.

Here is one pic of it with the interior.. https://my350z.com/forum/media-share...vo-r-help.html

Not much going on with it. Mounts like the Sparco bar except doesnt have the extra support rods because NRG did not design them correctly. (they are included, yet dont fit.. ) Not something u need but its something I would like to have.

They are making a new one but it will be a couple of months. On a positive note it is half the price of the Sparco bar..
